Description

This Beef Stir Fry with Noodles and Sticky Sauce is a fast and flavorful dish packed with tender beef, vibrant vegetables, and chewy noodles all coated in a rich, sticky sauce. Ingredients

  • 300g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 200g egg noodles
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Spring onions & sesame seeds (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, and water to make the sticky sauce.
  3. Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add beef slices and stir-fry until browned. Remove from pan.
  4. In the same pan, add garlic, ginger, onions, and bell peppers. Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Return beef to the pan, pour in the sauce, and stir until thickened and everything is coated.
  6. Toss in cooked noodles and mix well.
  7. Garnish with spring onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.

Notes

  • You can substitute beef with chicken or tofu.
  • Add chili flakes for extra heat.
  • For gluten-free, use tamari instead of soy sauce and rice noodles.
