Ingredients
- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and add butter. Cook until butter is melted and the mixture starts to simmer.
- Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to coat with the Alfredo sauce.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.

- For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
