Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices ham
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly combined.
  • Spread half the chicken mixture into the prepared loaf pan, pressing it down evenly.
  • Layer the ham and Swiss cheese on top of the chicken mixture, then spread Dijon mustard over the cheese.
  • Add the remaining chicken mixture on top, pressing it down to seal the edges.
  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey for ground chicken if preferred.
