Ingredients
8 slices white sandwich bread
4 oz cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 large eggs
1/4 cup milk
2 tbsp butter (for cooking)
Maple syrup, for serving
Instructions
- Trim crusts off bread slices and flatten each slice with a rolling pin.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread cream cheese mixture on each bread slice and roll up tightly.
- In a shallow bowl, mix eggs and milk.
- In another bowl, combine cinnamon and sugar.
- Dip each roll in the egg mixture.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook roll-ups until golden brown on all sides.
- Roll warm roll-ups in cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Serve with maple syrup.
