Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices cooked bacon (crumbled)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup green onions (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place chicken breasts in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Season with salt and pepper.
  • In a medium bowl, mix softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning, and chicken broth until smooth. Spread the mixture over the chicken breasts.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the cream cheese layer.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from the oven and top with crumbled bacon and chopped green onions.
  • Serve hot with your choice of sides, like rice, pasta, or vegetables.

Notes

  • You can use shredded rotisserie chicken to make this recipe even quicker.
  • Crack chicken also works great in a slow cooker—just cook on low for 6-7 hours.
