Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 cup orzo pasta
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups beef broth
1 cup milk or heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened.
Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Add orzo, beef broth, and milk. Stir to combine.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until orzo is tender and liquid is mostly absorbed.
Stir in Parmesan cheese, season with salt and pepper.
Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
