Ingredients
- 1 ½ lbs ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
For the glaze:
- ½ cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it on a baking sheet or in a loaf pan.
- In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard for the glaze.
- Spread half of the glaze over the meatloaf.
- Bake for 40 minutes, then spread the remaining glaze on top.
- Continue baking for an additional 15-20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let the meatloaf rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.

- For extra moisture, add 2 tbsp of ketchup or barbecue sauce to the meat mixture.
