Ingredients
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 cup cornstarch
Vegetable oil, for frying
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp sriracha
2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp rice vinegar
Chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions
In a bowl, marinate shrimp in buttermilk for 15 minutes.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Coat shrimp in cornstarch and fry until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
In a separate bowl, mix mayo, sriracha, chili sauce, honey, garlic powder, and rice vinegar to make the firecracker sauce.
