Description

This Garlic Chicken Gnocchi Skillet is a creamy, flavorful one-pan dish loaded with juicy chicken, soft gnocchi, and a delicious garlic-infused sauce. Perfect for a quick and satisfying dinner!

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cubed)
  • 1 lb potato gnocchi
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup spinach (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add cubed chicken, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, then cook until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  • Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  • Add gnocchi and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes until tender.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese and spinach (if using), then return the chicken to the pan.
  • Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
  • Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, use roasted garlic instead of fresh.
  • Substitute spinach with kale or mushrooms for variation.
  • Use pre-cooked gnocchi for a quicker meal.
