Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
  • Add vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well.
  • Gradually mix in dry ingredients until combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Roll out dough to about ¼ inch thick and cut out heart shapes using a cookie cutter.
  • Place cookies on the baking sheet and bake for 9-11 minutes or until edges are golden.
