Description

This vibrant Iced Cherry Chai recipe blends the bold, spicy warmth of chai tea with the bright, fruity sweetness of cherries. It's a unique and refreshing iced tea perfect for summer days or any time you crave a cooling and flavorful beverage. Easy to prepare and packed with antioxidants, this drink will become a staple in your healthy, seasonal refreshment routine.

Ingredients

2 cups water

2 chai tea bags

1 cup cherry juice (preferably unsweetened)

1/2 cup pitted fresh or frozen cherries

1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Ice cubes

Fresh mint or extra cherries for garnish

Instructions

In a small pot, bring water to a boil. Add chai tea bags and steep for 5–7 minutes.

Remove tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.

In a blender, combine cherry juice, cherries, vanilla, and sweetener if using. Blend until smooth.

Strain the cherry mixture if desired for a smoother drink.

Fill glasses with ice and pour equal parts chai tea and cherry blend over the ice.

Stir gently and garnish with mint or cherries. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use tart cherry juice for a deeper, more robust flavor.

You can prep the chai and cherry base in advance and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Optional: Add a splash of sparkling water for a fizzy twist.
