  7. 1 teaspoon baking soda
  8. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  9. 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cream Butter & Sugars: In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy.
  3. Add Eggs: Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the butter mixture, beating until well blended.
  5. Chocolate Chips: Stir in the chocolate chips.
  6. Form Cookies: Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 9 to 11 minutes or until lightly browned.
  8. Cool: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes, then transfer them to wire racks to cool completely.
