Ingredients
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix oats, flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine melted butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until smooth.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the wet mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.
