This One-Pan Creamy Parmesan Chicken & Rice Recipe is the ultimate comfort food. With tender chicken, creamy Parmesan-infused rice, and a rich sauce, this easy dinner comes together in one pan for minimal cleanup. Perfect for busy weeknights or a cozy family meal!


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup long-grain rice (uncooked)
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish


Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, then sear on both sides until golden. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté diced onion and garlic until fragrant.
  • Add rice and toast for 1 minute. Stir in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Place chicken breasts back into the skillet on top of the rice mixture. Cover and cook on low for 25-30 minutes, until the rice is tender and the chicken is fully cooked.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
