Description

Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix (plus ingredients to prepare)
  • 1 box (3 oz) red gelatin mix
  • 1 box (3 oz) blue gelatin mix
  • 2 cups boiling water, divided
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping
  • Red, white, and blue sprinkles


Instructions

  1. Prepare the cake mix according to the package instructions and bake in a 9x13 inch pan. Let cool completely.
  2. Using a fork, poke holes all over the cake.
  3. Dissolve the red gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water and pour over half the cake. Repeat with blue gelatin on the other half.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  5. Spread the whipped topping evenly over the cake.
  6. Decorate with sprinkles.
  7. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
