Ingredients

- 1 box (3 oz) red gelatin mix
- 1 box (3 oz) blue gelatin mix
- 2 cups boiling water, divided
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping
- Red, white, and blue sprinkles
Instructions
- Prepare the cake mix according to the package instructions and bake in a 9x13 inch pan. Let cool completely.
- Using a fork, poke holes all over the cake.
- Dissolve the red gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water and pour over half the cake. Repeat with blue gelatin on the other half.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Spread the whipped topping evenly over the cake.
- Decorate with sprinkles.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
