Ingredients
8 oz linguine or spaghetti
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 cup crushed tomatoes
1/2 cup heavy cream
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish
Instructions

Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and onion; sauté until soft.

Add shrimp and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.

Deglaze pan with white wine, simmer 2 minutes. Add crushed tomatoes, cream, salt, and pepper.

Simmer sauce 5–7 minutes until thickened. Return shrimp to the pan.

Toss in cooked pasta and Parmesan. Stir to coat.
