Description

This Summer Lemon Garlic Shrimp Pasta combines succulent shrimp with a tangy lemon garlic sauce, making it a light yet flavorful dish for any occasion. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a special summer meal!

Ingredients

1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)

8 oz pasta (spaghetti or linguine)

4 garlic cloves (minced)

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp butter

1 lemon (zested and juiced)

½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

Cook the pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Cook the shrimp: In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes (if using), and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the shrimp: Season the shrimp with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.

Combine: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the shrimp. Toss with lemon zest and juice, and adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper, if necessary.

Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can use any pasta you prefer, such as linguine, spaghetti, or fettuccine.

For a creamier version, add a splash of heavy cream or a dollop of cream cheese.

Adjust the lemon quantity based on personal preference for tanginess.
