Ingredients

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled

46 fresh basil leaves

2 oz silver tequila

1 oz triple sec or orange liqueur

1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice

1/2 oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)

Ice

Salt or sugar for rimming (optional)

Lime wedge and extra basil for garnish


Instructions

Rim your glass with lime and dip in salt or sugar if desired.

In a shaker, muddle strawberries and basil until fragrant and juicy.

Add tequila, triple sec, lime juice, simple syrup, and a handful of ice.

Shake well for 15–20 seconds.

Strain into a glass filled with ice.
