Description

This Summer Watermelon Sorbet recipe is the ultimate refreshing treat made with fresh watermelon and a hint of lime. It’s dairy-free, naturally sweet, and ideal for hot weather. Learn how to make this easy and healthy frozen dessert at home with just a few ingredients!

Ingredients

4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed and frozen

2 tbsp fresh lime juice

23 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, depending on sweetness of melon)

Pinch of salt

Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Cut watermelon into cubes and freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.

In a high-powered blender or food processor, combine frozen watermelon, lime juice, sweetener (if using), and salt.

Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down sides as needed.

Serve immediately for a soft-serve texture or transfer to a container and freeze 1–2 hours for a firmer scoop.

Garnish with mint leaves if desired and enjoy!

Notes

For a smoother texture, strain the mixture before freezing to remove pulp.

You can replace honey with maple syrup for a vegan version.

Best served fresh, but can be stored in the freezer up to 1 week.
