This Tuna Noodle Casserole recipe features tender noodles, flaky tuna, and a creamy sauce, all topped with a crunchy breadcrumb topping. Perfect for a family dinner, this classic dish is both comforting and satisfying.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 2 cans (10 oz each) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cans (5 oz each) tuna, drained and flaked
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook noodles according to package instructions; drain.
  • In a large bowl, mix together cream of mushroom soup, milk, tuna, peas, and cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add cooked noodles to the mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle evenly over the casserole.
