These Air Fryer BBQ Ribs deliver all the flavor of traditional barbecued ribs with a fraction of the cooking time. Tender, juicy, and slathered in BBQ sauce, they're a must-try for any rib enthusiast.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds baby back ribs
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. This step is crucial for tender ribs.
- In a small bowl, mix together salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cumin.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they are well-coated.
- Cut the ribs into sections that will fit into your air fryer basket.
- Place the rib sections in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- In the last 5 minutes of cooking, brush a generous amount of BBQ sauce over the ribs.
- Remove the ribs from the air fryer and let them rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For best results, let the ribs sit with the dry rub on them for at least 30 minutes before cooking if time allows.
- You can adjust the spice mix according to your preference or add other favorite spices.
