Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken tenders (about 8-10 tenders)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs or panko
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Cooking spray or olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preparation: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Seasoning: Season the chicken tenders with salt and pepper.
- Dredging Station: Set up three shallow dishes. Place the flour in the first, the beaten eggs in the second, and mix the breadcrumbs with paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder in the third.
- Dredge Chicken: Dredge each chicken tender in the flour, shaking off any excess. Dip it into the beaten egg, ensuring it's fully coated, then coat it in the breadcrumb mixture. Press the breadcrumbs onto the chicken to adhere well.
- Air Fry: Place the breaded chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Ensure they're not touching to allow proper air circulation. Spray the tenders lightly with cooking spray or olive oil spray.
- Cook: Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken tenders are golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
