Ingredients
- 1 box (16 oz) saltine crackers
- 1 cup canola oil
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch dressing mix
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 2–3 tablespoons crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Place the saltine crackers in a large, sealable plastic bag or airtight container.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together canola oil, ranch dressing mix, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.
- Pour the seasoned oil mixture over the crackers, seal the bag, and gently toss to coat evenly.
- Let the crackers sit for at least 4 hours or overnight, turning the bag occasionally to distribute flavors.
- Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C). Spread the crackers on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 15 minutes, stirring halfway through, to crisp them up.
