Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the uncooked rice evenly in the baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, sour cream, white wine (if using), Italian dressing seasoning mix, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour half the mixture over the rice.
- Place chicken breasts on top of the rice and pour the remaining soup mixture over the chicken.
- Drizzle melted butter over the top. Cover the dish tightly with foil.
- Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the chicken is cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
