Description

Perfect for a work-break snack, this microwave banana bread at work in a mug is delicious, moist, and ready in under 5 minutes!


Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar or to taste
  • 1 egg


Instructions

  1. In a microwave-safe mug, mash the ripe banana using a fork.
  2. Add in the sugar, vegetable oil (or melted butter), and vanilla extract, stirring well.
  3. Beat in the egg.
  4. Add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until all ingredients are well combined and there are no flour patches.
