Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil or melted butter
- 2 tbsp sugar or to taste
- 1 egg
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe mug, mash the ripe banana using a fork.
- Add in the sugar, vegetable oil (or melted butter), and vanilla extract, stirring well.
- Beat in the egg.
- Add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until all ingredients are well combined and there are no flour patches.
- Microwave on high for approximately 2-3 minutes or until the bread has risen and set. The cooking time may vary based on microwave wattage, so keep an eye on it to avoid overflows or overcooking.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before eating.
