Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced thin
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  • In a bowl, whisk eggs, parmesan, and heavy cream (if using).
  • Toss the cooked pasta in the skillet with bacon and garlic. Turn off the heat.
