Description

This Brazilian lemonade recipe is a creamy and tangy beverage made with fresh limes and sweetened condensed milk. It's a refreshing drink that's perfect for summer parties, barbecues, or a cool treat on a hot day.

Ingredients

  • 4 fresh limes
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar (optional, adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Wash the limes thoroughly and cut them into quarters.
  2. Place the lime quarters, cold water, and sugar (if using) in a blender.
  3. Blend on high for about 15-20 seconds, just enough to break down the limes.
  4. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large pitcher, pressing down to extract as much liquid as possible.
  5. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk until fully combined.
  6. Serve immediately over ice.

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, blend the lime mixture longer before straining.
  • Adjust the sweetness to taste by adding more or less sugar or sweetened condensed milk.
  • Best served fresh to prevent bitterness from the lime peels.
