Ingredients
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 6 slices bread, cubed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- 1/2 cup diced onion
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and dry mustard.
- Add bread cubes, cooked sausage, cheese, bell pepper, and onion to the bowl. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden and the eggs are set.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
