Ingredients

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 6 slices bread, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced onion


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and dry mustard.
  • Add bread cubes, cooked sausage, cheese, bell pepper, and onion to the bowl. Mix well.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden and the eggs are set.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.
