Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup milk
- 3/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp ground mustard
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, milk, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, salt, pepper, and ground mustard until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place in a lightly greased loaf pan or baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Spread this mixture over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the glaze is caramelized.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
