Description

This Chicken Parmesan Pasta recipe combines tender chicken, marinara, and melty cheese into a simple, one-pot meal that's perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups uncooked penne pasta
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add cubed chicken, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until browned.
  • Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  • Add marinara sauce, chicken broth, and penne pasta to the skillet. Stir well.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
  • Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses until melted.
  • Garnish with fresh basil, if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use whole-grain or gluten-free pasta for a healthier twist.
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
