Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups uncooked penne pasta
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add cubed chicken, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until browned.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add marinara sauce, chicken broth, and penne pasta to the skillet. Stir well.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
- Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses until melted.
- Garnish with fresh basil, if desired, and serve warm.
