Ingredients

  1. For the Crust:
    • 36 Oreo cookies
    • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  2. Cream Cheese Layer:
    • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
    • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
    • 2 tablespoons cold milk
    • 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  3. Pudding Layer:
    • 2 packages (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding
    • 3 1/4 cups cold milk
  4. Topping:
    • 2 cups whipped topping
    • Chocolate shavings or chocolate chips for garnish


Instructions

  1. Begin by crushing the Oreo cookies (with their filling) into fine crumbs. Mix with melted butter and press into a 9x13-inch dish to form the crust. Place in the fridge to set for about 10 minutes.
  2. For the cream cheese layer: In a large bowl, whip the cream cheese until smooth using a hand mixer. Add in the sugar and 2 tablespoons of milk. Mix well. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping. Spread this mixture over the crust.
  3. For the pudding layer: In another bowl, combine the chocolate pudding mixes and 3 1/4 cups of cold milk. Whisk for a few minutes until the pudding starts to thicken. Spread this layer over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Spread the remaining 2 cups of whipped topping over the pudding layer.
  5. Garnish with chocolate shavings or chocolate chips.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to let the dessert set and flavors meld together.
  7. Slice into squares and serve.
