Ingredients
- For the Crust:
- 36 Oreo cookies
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Cream Cheese Layer:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cold milk
- 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- Pudding Layer:
- 2 packages (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding
- 3 1/4 cups cold milk
- Topping:
- 2 cups whipped topping
- Chocolate shavings or chocolate chips for garnish
Instructions
- Begin by crushing the Oreo cookies (with their filling) into fine crumbs. Mix with melted butter and press into a 9x13-inch dish to form the crust. Place in the fridge to set for about 10 minutes.
- For the cream cheese layer: In a large bowl, whip the cream cheese until smooth using a hand mixer. Add in the sugar and 2 tablespoons of milk. Mix well. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping. Spread this mixture over the crust.
- For the pudding layer: In another bowl, combine the chocolate pudding mixes and 3 1/4 cups of cold milk. Whisk for a few minutes until the pudding starts to thicken. Spread this layer over the cream cheese layer.
- Spread the remaining 2 cups of whipped topping over the pudding layer.
- Garnish with chocolate shavings or chocolate chips.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to let the dessert set and flavors meld together.
- Slice into squares and serve.
