Description

These Cookies & Cream Brownies are a decadent combination of rich, fudgy brownies and crunchy Oreo cookies. The brownie base is dense and moist, while the crushed Oreo cookies on top add a delightful texture and sweetness. Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 15 Oreo cookies (crushed)
  • ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until combined. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  • Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, and gently fold into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Fold in half of the crushed Oreo cookies and chocolate chips (if using) into the batter.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle the remaining crushed Oreos over the top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Let the brownies cool completely before slicing into squares.
