These Cookies & Cream Brownies are a decadent combination of rich, fudgy brownies and crunchy Oreo cookies. Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 15 Oreo cookies (crushed)
- ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until combined. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, and gently fold into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in half of the crushed Oreo cookies and chocolate chips (if using) into the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle the remaining crushed Oreos over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool completely before slicing into squares.
