Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 slices of ham
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Flatten chicken breasts using a meat mallet.
- Place a slice of ham and cheese on each chicken breast. Roll tightly and secure with toothpicks.
- Heat butter in a skillet, sear the chicken rolls until golden brown.
- Place chicken in a baking dish.
- In the same skillet, whisk in flour, then add chicken broth, heavy cream, and Dijon mustard. Simmer until thickened.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken rolls.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
- Serve warm with sauce drizzled on top.

- Substitute Gruyere cheese for Swiss for a richer flavor.
