Description

This Creamy Chicken Cordon Bleu Recipe delivers tender chicken stuffed with ham and cheese, smothered in a rich, creamy sauce. A perfect dinner!


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Flatten chicken breasts using a meat mallet.
  • Place a slice of ham and cheese on each chicken breast. Roll tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  • Heat butter in a skillet, sear the chicken rolls until golden brown.
  • Place chicken in a baking dish.
  • In the same skillet, whisk in flour, then add chicken broth, heavy cream, and Dijon mustard. Simmer until thickened.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken rolls.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
  • Serve warm with sauce drizzled on top.
