Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup basil pesto
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, reduce heat to low and add heavy cream, stirring until slightly thickened (about 2 minutes).
