Ingredients
- 12 oz pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup basil pesto
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to low and add heavy cream, stirring until slightly thickened (about 2 minutes).
- Mix in pesto and Parmesan cheese, stirring until well combined.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Add the cooked pasta and stir to combine. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve hot.
