Ingredients
- 12 oz pasta (linguine or fettuccine)
- 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in heavy cream, lemon zest, and juice, cooking for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add Parmesan cheese and stir until fully melted and smooth.
