Ingredients

  • 4 croissants, sliced in half
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices ham
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Spinach leaves, tomato slices

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the skillet, stirring occasionally until fully cooked.
  • While the eggs are cooking, warm the croissants in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Once the eggs are cooked, remove from heat.
  • Assemble the sandwiches by placing a slice of ham on the bottom half of each croissant.
  • Add a portion of scrambled eggs on top of the ham.
  • Sprinkle cheese over the eggs and top with optional spinach leaves and tomato slices if desired.
  • Place the top half of the croissant on the sandwich.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

  • For added flavor, spread a layer of mayonnaise or Dijon mustard on the croissants before assembling.
