Description
This easy and refreshing peach lemonade recipe is the ultimate summer drink! Made with ripe peaches, fresh lemon juice, and natural sweeteners, it’s a fruity twist on a classic beverage. Serve chilled with ice and mint for a cooling treat. Perfect for picnics, parties, or relaxing afternoons.
Ingredients
4 fresh ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–5 lemons)
¾ to 1 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
5 cups cold water
Ice cubes
Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
Lemon slices and peach slices (for serving)
Instructions
In a saucepan, combine sliced peaches and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5–10 minutes until peaches are soft.
Let it cool slightly, then blend the peach mixture until smooth. Strain through a fine sieve to remove pulp.
In a large pitcher, combine the peach purée, lemon juice, and sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
Add the remaining cold water and stir well. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Serve over ice with mint leaves, lemon slices, and peach slices for garnish.
Notes
You can substitute sugar with honey, agave, or stevia.
Frozen peaches can be used if fresh ones are unavailable.
Adjust the strength by adding more or less water based on your preference.
