Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz medium pasta shells
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is browned and the onion is softened. Drain excess fat.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Stir in tomato sauce, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Lower the heat and stir in heavy cream and shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
  • Add the cooked pasta shells to the skillet and stir until well combined with the beef and sauce.
