Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz medium pasta shells
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is browned and the onion is softened. Drain excess fat.
- Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Stir in tomato sauce, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Lower the heat and stir in heavy cream and shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Add the cooked pasta shells to the skillet and stir until well combined with the beef and sauce.
