Ingredients: For the Kebab:

  1. 1 pound ground lamb or beef

  5. 1 teaspoon paprika

  8. 1 egg

  3. Tomato, sliced
  4. Onion, thinly sliced
  5. Cucumber, sliced
  6. Tzatziki sauce or garlic yogurt sauce

 

Preparation:

Step 1: Prepare the Meat Mixture

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb or beef with garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, paprika, coriander, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Add the egg to bind the ingredients. Knead the mixture for a few minutes.

Step 2: Shape and Cook the Kebab

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place it on a baking tray.
  • Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes or until fully cooked. Alternatively, you can grill the kebab for a more authentic flavor.

Step 3: Slice the Kebab

  • Once cooked, let the kebab rest for a few minutes. Then slice it thinly.

Step 4: Assemble the Kebab

  • Warm the pita bread or flatbreads.

  • Add the sliced kebab meat on top.
