Ingredients
- 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, rice vinegar, and ground ginger.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
- Sear chicken thighs, skin-side down, for 3-4 minutes until the skin is crispy and golden brown. Flip and sear the other side for 2 minutes.
- Pour the soy sauce mixture over the chicken thighs. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the glaze is sticky and caramelized.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
