- 1 cup white rice (uncooked)

- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground sausage and cook until browned, breaking it into pieces.
- Add diced onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are soft, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in rice, paprika, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1-2 minutes to toast the rice.
- Pour in chicken broth and diced tomatoes. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
- Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
- Fluff the rice with a fork, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
