Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts, seasoned with salt and pepper, and sear them until they are golden on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and let it simmer for a minute, scraping the pan to release any browned bits.
  4. Lower the heat, then add heavy cream, grated Parmesan, and dried Italian herbs. Stir well until the cheese has melted into the cream, creating a creamy sauce.
  5. Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and spoon some of the sauce over them.
  6. Let the chicken simmer in the sauce for another 5-7 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For added depth, you can introduce sliced mushrooms or sun-dried tomatoes during the garlic sautéing step.
