Savor this Hoisin beef noodles recipe, featuring tender beef, crisp vegetables, and a savory hoisin sauce. Perfect for a quick and easy Asian-inspired dinner, ready in just 30 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces rice noodles or lo mein noodles
  • 1 pound beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup snow peas
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds and chopped cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook the noodles: Prepare noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, mix hoisin sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.
  • Cook the beef: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove beef and set aside.
  • Cook the vegetables: In the same skillet, add garlic, ginger, red bell pepper, snow peas, and carrot. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • Combine: Return the beef to the skillet, add the cooked noodles and sauce. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
  • Serve: Garnish with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, and cilantro. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, add red pepper flakes or a splash of sriracha sauce.
  • Substitute chicken or tofu for a different protein option.
