Indulge in this sweet and savory Honey Butter Chicken, a quick and easy dish perfect for weeknight dinners. With tender chicken coated in a buttery honey glaze, it's a crowd-pleaser! Keywords: Honey Butter Chicken, quick chicken recipe, easy dinner, sweet and savory chicken.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or chives for garnish

Instructions

  • Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add butter and garlic, sautéing until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Stir in honey and soy sauce, and cook until the mixture is slightly thickened, about 2 minutes.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat in the honey butter sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to glaze the chicken.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley or chives and serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey according to your taste.
  • Pair with steamed vegetables or rice for a complete meal.
  • Substitute soy sauce with tamari for a gluten-free version.
