½ to ¾ cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
4 cups cold water
Ice cubes
Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
Lemon and peach slices (for garnish)
Instructions
Make Peach Puree: In a blender, combine the chopped peaches and 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
Strain (optional): For a smoother drink, strain the peach puree through a fine mesh sieve.
Combine: In a large pitcher, mix peach puree, lemon juice, and sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves.
Add Water: Pour in the remaining 3 cups of cold water and mix well.
Chill: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Serve: Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint, lemon slices, or peach wedges if desired.
Notes
Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar depending on the ripeness of your peaches.
You can use sparkling water instead of still water for a fizzy version.
For extra flavor, steep a few basil or mint leaves in the lemonade for 30 minutes.
