Ingredients
- 1 large sub roll or baguette
- 4 slices salami
- 4 slices mortadella
- 4 slices capicola
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onions
- 1/4 cup sliced banana peppers
- 2 tbsp Italian dressing
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Slice the sub roll lengthwise, leaving one side attached. Spread mayonnaise (if using) on the inside of the bread.
- Layer the salami, mortadella, capicola, and provolone cheese evenly over the bottom half of the roll.
- Add shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, red onions, and banana peppers on top of the meats and cheese.
- Drizzle Italian dressing over the vegetables. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
- Close the sandwich, press gently, and slice in half. Serve immediately and enjoy!
