Ingredients
- 12 oz wide egg noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 24 oz marinara sauce
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat, seasoning with salt and pepper. Drain excess fat.
- Stir marinara sauce into cooked beef and simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, egg, and 1 cup mozzarella.
- Layer half of the noodles in a greased 9x13 baking dish. Top with half the meat sauce and half the cheese mixture.
- Repeat layers, finishing with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
