Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them in the prepared baking dish.
- Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
