Description

My grandma made this Melt In Your Mouth Caesar Chicken when she was 33, and it's been a family legend ever since. Tried it myself, and it's just as incredible as she always described!

Ingredients

  1. 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  2. 1 cup Caesar salad dressing (creamy variety)
  3. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  4. 1 tsp garlic powder
  5. 1/2 tsp black pepper
  6. 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
  7. Optional: 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley or Italian seasoning for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Prepare Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the baking dish. Season them with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Add Caesar Dressing: Pour the Caesar salad dressing over the chicken, making sure each piece is well coated.
  4. Add Parmesan: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the chicken.
  5. Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C) and the top is golden brown.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Once done, you can garnish with chopped parsley or a sprinkle of Italian seasoning for added flavor. Serve the chicken hot, perhaps with a side of roasted vegetables, salad, or over pasta.

Notes

  1. Chicken Preparation: Using boneless, skinless chicken breasts is recommended for this recipe as they cook evenly and absorb flavors well. Make sure your chicken breasts are of even thickness; you can pound them slightly if necessary for uniform cooking.
  2. Quality of Caesar Dressing: The Caesar dressing is a key flavor component in this dish. Use a high-quality creamy Caesar dressing for the best results. The flavor and richness of the dressing greatly impact the overall taste of the dish.
  3. Parmesan Cheese: Freshly grated Parmesan cheese is preferred for its flavor and how it melts. Pre-grated cheese can be used, but it may not melt as smoothly.
