Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz noodles (spaghetti, udon, or rice noodles)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (slurry)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add garlic and ginger to the skillet; sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
  • Add the cornstarch slurry and cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Toss the cooked noodles into the skillet with the beef and sauce. Mix to coat evenly.
  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
